Cost for memberbership is £5 per annum.

 

This can be made via cheque made payable to Cardiff Reptile Association or can be made online via Paypal by clicking here. Please include your full address details, your date of birth, and whether you would prefer to receive email, or postal newsletters. If you do not fill in these details we will contact you via email for them before we can send out your membership card in the post.

What does my membership include?

Your membership includes any discounts or offers that we can supply to you. This may change throughout the year, and can be found here.

 

Your membership gets you access not only to Cardiff Reptile Association meetings, but also FBH and association society meetings, breeder meetings, and special events.

 

Your membership will entitle you to join us on any special trips or events.

 

Your membership ensures that you offer your support to a society that is working towards helping hobbyists across the UK, with conservation, news, care and legislation information.

 

Why should I join?

 

Joining is not just so you can get yourself some discounts - joining should be so you can support the community. 20% of your membership fee goes to the Federation of British Herpetologists who campaign for reptile rights, positive legislation, education and conservation.

 

Reptile keeping can be little understood, with a lack of education still leading to many people thinking reptiles are disgusting, slimy and dangerous. Supporting your local community will help us to educate people and increase knowledge across the local area.

 

If I don't, can I still use this website?

 

Yes, this website is free for anyone to use and always will be. You do not have to be a paying member of CRA to register, and you can still offer input such as caresheets and your own personal comments. You will not however be able to join our meetings or special events, or have access to any special offers listed on the website.
